Described by Limelight as “absurd and funny, moving and creative, precise and demanding,” Speak Percussion showcases the extraordinary talent of musicians using instruments like drums, cymbals, and xylophones. As they celebrate their 25th anniversary, the ensemble continues to push the boundaries of sonic art.

In honor of this milestone, we developed the typeface "Percursive," combining the elegance of cursive with the dynamic energy of percussion. The exaggerated serifs evoke majesty while reflecting the rhythmic flow of writing, mirroring the interplay of sound and movement in percussion. Designed for versatility, Percursive will be featured across Speak Percussion's publications, exhibitions, and performances, aligning their visual identity with their groundbreaking artistry.
